OUCH!

This morning we held hands as I drove home.

My little girl's wisdom teeth were removed.

She looked like the cutest lil chipmunk.

Puffy cheeks, sad puppy dog eyes.

I could tell she wished she was 5 and could still curl up in my lap.

On the way home we had to stop.

Upset stomach and she panicked

She started to sob and hyperventilate.

She threw up blood.

I know. Graphic, gross. TMI.

I cried right along with her.

I couldn't fix it with a bandaid and a kiss.

She has slept most of the day.

Ice chips, pudding and water with lemon slices

all make her eyes light up when I walk in the room.

She has always had a pleasant demeanor when sick.

Tonight for dinner is pureed white cheddar potato soup

and for dessert, an extra scoop of ice cream.
