I am preparing a meatless chili recipe tonight.

With intent on sharing my frugal recipe and ingredients

as a fill in gift for distant relatives who I rarely see

but think more of than just sending a card.

So a gift in a jar will do.

Last year was vegan brownies, which received good reviews.

I'll post the recipe tomorrow, with pics and instructions

for filling the jar, cooking instructions card, etc.

It's a cheap gift, but if you spend a few moments decorating the lid

with fabric and ribbon it turns out nice.
