My phone rang last night. It was my mother and she was screaming "He did it! He did it!". I didn't know what she was talking about at all. "Who did what?" I asked. "Barry hit the homer! " she yelled with glee. I wasn't as excited as she was. I don't follow baseball anymore, and while I am not unhappy for Barry, I really could care less about it. He accomplished something great, true. But I am not into sports enough to get excited about it. I wish him well, and hope for he and his family that people will leave him alone and let him enjoy his victory.
