In my attempt to stick with the actual reason
I created my blog to begin with........
It's National Soup Month!
I had never noticed my favorite comfort food
had it's very own month!
I wonder when National Cheesecake month is?
So I am having the first ever contest on my blog...
The winner will be picked randomly.
The prize? An adorable apron valued at $39.95 (gloves and garter not included in contest)
With all the gloomy economic stuff happening, we could all use a little fun in our domestic life!

These aprons are great!My favorite is the Dorothy Apron in Red.Oddly, I have the socks and shoe, already. : )

I would love love love to enter the contest for the apron giveaway. One, because I don't own an apron, and have splattered many a cute top when cooking - and TWO, because aprons make me think happy thoughts. (And THREE because I love SOUP!!!)
My Grandmother was a wonderful cook - a baker, a chef, a dietician, she could cook anything. She had LOTS of aprons - 'full frontal' ones that went over your shoulders; the "half" ones, that just tied at the waist. Lots of colors. She even had more "formal" ones for special holidays - they were so pretty I'd have worn an apron over the apron if I were cooking! Anyway - I've been a fellow ANT COLONY blogger for some time - and would love to participate in your contest. Thanks for posting about it!

I do the same thing! I love aprons. I own quite a few I've had my mom make me over the years. Her eyesight has deteriorated so she no longer sews, so I cherish the aprons she made me. Thanks so much for mentioning me on your blog! I love your blog and DO notice when you stop posting!
